Jim & Elaine Corbin
The Corbin & Associates Motto:
Building relationships that last a lifetime.
In the beginning
Jim and Elaine Corbin started their journey in 1995 when the business started as Corbin & Associates Inc. but that was not the beginning. Jim served countless numbers of students as the SRO for Memorial Junior and Boone High Schools in Orlando Florida during his career. The job was not just a 9 to 5 kind of commitment. Many hours were volunteered by the couple for years. They both embraced the students of all walks of life and made an impact on and off campus that included welcoming students old and new into their own home. The history of SRO may have started years prior, but the impact and the legacy of SRO and the training of hundreds officers and school officials across the country by Jim and Elaine will continue for many years to come. Their dedication, like the company motto, to building relationships that last a lifetime has made the difference in so many lives for generations through the service of each person trained. This legacy and commitment to all that will attend future Corbin & Associates courses is our promise to carry on their vision and life long work. Enjoy your retirement Jim and Elaine, much deserved.
James "Scooter" Naylor
Web dESIGNER AND ASSOCIATE
James is an 23 year veteran of Law Enforcement with 8 years in the SRO Unit. He has been an instrumental part of getting our transition from Jim and Elaine's legacy of the company's beginning into our current place we are today. He helped get our webpage set up and built this site using his knowledge, abilities, and heart for the school resource officer role and helping our students experience what a true SRO can do for our school campuses. I greatly appreciate James' contributions, past and present, as a solid SRO when he served Chattanooga Central High, and led many of our school resource deputies while serving as a sergeant with the Hamilton County TN Sheriff's Office. Since his retirement, he continues invest his heart and soul to the what it means to be an SRO and a genuinely great family man and mentor to those that reach out to him.
